Wanting to work with as young of children as I want to it is all about the experiences you have with them and how they take those experiences and grow in the years. These young years are the most crucial so any little tool helps, and these academic journals are perfect tools to use, and there are studies linked so there is information to support what these authors have to give. They know what they are talking about and they have been through it before, so having that resource is positives across the board.

Week Four
I was very excited to do research this week because I am starting to get the hang of this Leatherby Library thing. This week was quite simple and I came up with so many great articles when it came to dealing with fluent readers and reading as a subject for young children. Each week my subject opens more doors for me and it is really quite interesting reading things such as, if a child has a negative first impression on reading it will stick with them for life pretty much I know it is so true because I am a very weak reader and never felt anything positive when it came to reading. I know how important it is, so the source this week that I found is not only written in 2015, it is a teacher's tool that teachers of these young children can use to make sure that children have a positive experience with reading and language in general. This source that I found through the Leatherby Library gives multiple strategies on how to work with all the different types of children you will come across working with. This source is definitely one I can use in the future and it really got me interested in finding more. I have come to the conclusion that academic journals are a source I do enjoy reading most.
