My name is Tianna. I am 25 years old currently with an associates from College of the Desert in Liberal Arts. I am California born and raised, and I am a workaholic. I am currently a server and happy as can be. Part time work with part time school and just a little time in between for fun and my family. I just recently transferred into Brandman University, this will be my fourth class so far. I absolutely LOVE it here so far. Every professor I have had has been great, the office faculty have been so helpful in making this transfer as smooth as possible. My major is Early Childhood Education and my goal is to graduate with my Bachelors, and just recently started thinking about going forward to my Masters, but not too sure yet. My future goal is to be either a Kindergarten or first grade teacher. I love children, always have, and since I could remember teaching is what I have wanted to do.
In my career path I would like to research more about the trainings that current teachers in Kindergarden and or first grade go through and why. I know in this field the training is consistent and constant to keep up with all the changes that arise each and every day, but I do not really know what these changes entitle or are specifically targeted to do. In this class I also want to learn to information that is accurate, because now and days anything can go onto the Internet. With all the different urls and websites, knowing which ones to trust and which are just made up takes a lot of skill and practice. I'm hoping this class will give me the skills to distinguish the differences.
